Stamptacular Sunday Challenge Blog Hop ~ Let the summer begin!!

Hi everyone, and welcome to Stamptacular's very first 'Blog Hop'. You should have just come from Janneke's blog, remember you need to visit each DT members blog and leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning the grand prize. I hope you've been enjoying the hop so far.
I love the summer all the pretty colours of the flowers in bloom and of course the sun is a bonus, though here in the UK the past two summers have been a bit of a let down on the weather front and more of a washout, with excessive rain, so here's hoping for a better summer this year. This time of year I really enjoy watching all the birds and fledglings especially the Starlings, what characters they are.

When I'm not crafting I love to go course fishing with my other half Steve. We are lucky to have a lake at the end of our garden so we don't have to go far.
Combined with the fishing we love having family and friends over for a BBQ, and if the weather's bad we just cook indoors...lol, we can't let wet weather spoil the day. Our biggest BBQ and get together of the summer is on the August bank holiday weekend when our village have a raft race on the canal, it so much fun to watch and even more fun when everyone gets to throw flour bombs, not only at the raft racers but at each other too.

I hope you've enjoyed looking at some of my favourite summer pictures, don't forget to leave a comment and then you need to hop on over to Kristin's Blog.
You'll find my post for this weeks Stamptacular challenge in the post below this one.
Enjoy your hop!!!

unfortunately i prefer the shade!
but we do spend half of the time in either wales or the lake district taking long walks, swimming in streams running down from the mountains oh and visiting the local homemade icecream shop that sells over 45 flavours and i do enjoy that it doesn't get dark till much later in the evening.

What a fabulous fun summer you have -love the idea of a lake at the bottom of the garden. The raft races look great too, its looks like you have a close knit community, quite different to life in London I'm lucky if I know 5 people in my road and I have lived here for 20 odd years!

We do have Epping Forest though which is beautiful and only a 10 minute drive away and I forgot to mention before in the blogs but the best thing i get to do in the summer is to drive my car with the roof down.

Hugs Beccy x

Hi Joanne,

OMGosh...how awesome would it be to have a lake so close! Fabulous photo!

I would so love it if we had a raft race here...it looks like so much fun! Do people just hand make their own rafts and enter the race? Such a fabulous idea and great excuse for a get together!

Oh, and I don't think I've ever seen a burger that big before! It honestly looks like it was bigger than that little boy's entire head! LOL

I also wanted to let you know that I am so excited to have you as a part of the SSC DT! Your creativity is beyond belief, your eagerness to help no matter what the occasion is, and the love you share with us is amazing! Thank you!

Hugs,
Priscilla
