CHARITY BLOG CANDY NEWS!!!

Crafty Emma is still doing an amazing job at raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, and she now has running an awesome blog candy full of yummy prizes, but this time round to enter you need to donate at least £1 to the YAA using Emma's 'Just Giving' page.  I have mentioned this before but sorry I'm gonna mention it again the YAA need to raise £7,200 A DAY to keep both helicopters and the air ambulance staff running, they don't get any government funding.  These guys do an amazing job and save so many life's.  Why not nip over to Annie's blog Annie's Antics and read the story of her husband who was in an horrific accident about 9 months ago, and if it wasn't for the YAA he may not of been here now.
So if you would like to help Emma with her fundraising in memory of her dad 'Ronnie' then please go visit her BLOG for full details. EVERY £1 MAKES A DIFFERENCE!!!

I hope you are all enjoying some glorious weather and have a fabulous day!!

Had a fabulous night last night at Crafty Emma's party and fundraiser in memory of her dad Ronnie, who would have been 60 today, myself and Steve went along with our SIL Mel and her hubby, and we also met up with Annie from Annie's Antics and her hubby too.  We all had a good boogie and surprisingly I can actual move this morning and I don't have a sore head...lol.  I think a good time was had by all, I have no idea how much money was raised but there were sacks and sacks of bra's, everyone was asked to bring bra's.  Bra's?? you may ask, well the Yorkshire Air Ambulance is collecting bra's, for every 200,000 bra's they will get a guaranteed income of at least £10,000.  The bra's will go to west Africa.
So if you have any old bra's that you would like to donate please check out the YAA website or find more details on Emma's blog.

Enjoy your Sunday!!

The DT have been busy with their machines, hand sewing or just plain faking it and have plenty of gorgeous inspiration for you, so please do check out my fellow teamies work.  Here's mine...

I have used this weeks Pollycraft Friday Freebie for my stitching card.  Meet Cuthbert 'FOR YOU'...now unlike the normal weekly freebie's this little darling is only going to be available for 24 HOURS, so don't be hanging around to get hold of him as after the 24 hours he will then join the Cuthbert & Kiki set of images due for release on Monday 10th May in the Pollycraft shop.  So to get hold of him for free now, hop on over to Tales from Pollycraft.

RECIPE

Digi Image - Pollycraft 'Cuthbert - For You' (Friday freebie available for 24 hours only)

Papers - Papermania

Colouring Mediums - Watercolour Pencils with Sansodor, Copics and Promarkers

Flowers - My own crochet flowers

Buttons - From stash

Sentiment - Papermania

Other Tools - Paper Pricking Tool, Whisper Markers for faux stitching and Brass Stencil for butterfly.

***************
Some people have asked me that when I use watercolour pencils with sansodor and Copics/Promarkers which areas are coloured with which, so I will try to remember in future to include which areas are coloured with which.  For this image....

Watercolour Pencils & Sansodor - Cuthberts furry body.

Copics/Promarkers - Everywhere else.

When there is fur detail on an image I like to use the watercolour pencils blended with Sansodor as for me this gives me the shading and texture I'm happiest with to make an image look more furry/fluffy.

*****************

We do hope you will be able to join us for this weeks challenge, we can't wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!!
