6 in 1 Challenge Card

Good evening all, hope everyone is keeping well.  I've been bust blitzing my craft cave the past couple of days, so it's back to being an organised and tidy place again, can't promise how long it will stay like that mind.  So once my room was all ready I had to go make a card, and mess up my desk again a little...lol.
The card I have for you fits 6 challenges, not bad considering I only followed the one sketch for this card then had a nosey through my challenges list to see if it would fit anywhere else.  I think I like doing it this way, following one challenge then see where it fits in with others.  Anyway here's my card....

I've been wanting to do an easel card using a different shape for ages, and this one is huge...lol.  I've used a 8 x 8 scalloped cirlce card from Kanban, cut along the crease so I had two halves, one half is the front and the second peice was folded and creased to make the easel base, I wanted the base to be a half circle, and I think it looks pretty ok, what do you think?

The 6 challenges are...

Mojo Monday - Sketch 123

Stamptacular - Pop-Up (I wasn't sure if this was a pop-up but one of the DT cards is an easel card)

Charisma Cardz - Fruity Colours

Allsorts - Hearts and Flowers

RECIPE

Digi Image - Pollycrafts 'Twiddly Wings Climbing'

Papers - My Minds Eye

Colouring Mediums - Copics, Promarkers and Sakura Stardust

Flowers & Buttons - Papermania

Ribbon - from stash

Doodle (faux) Stitching - Whisper Markers

*****
I have been trying to blog hop, but once again I've been having blogger problems with commenting on many blogs, I 've hopped around a few today which I couldn't comment on over the weekend and they have been ok today, so hopefully the problem is now sorted and I'll will be visiting with comments very soon.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Pollycraft's Freebie (a little late...)

Happy Saturday to you all!!

Sorry I've not posted anything since Monday but it's been a bit of a week.  I was busy with work for a couple of days earlier in the week then sadly, Steve's father-in-law passed away on Thursday, this only coming a few months after his mother-in-law died in October.  They were both wonderful people and welcomed me into their family with open arms, which meant a lot to me under the circumstances, which I wont go into here. They will both be sorely missed but in a way it's comforting to know they can be both be re-united again after only a short absence apart.

Well after a pretty non-crafting week with one thing or another my mojo has gone into overdrive today and I've done four cards, which I'll spread out between now and Monday.  I should of really had this card done and ready to show you yesterday as it uses the wonderful image that Paula has provided for this weeks Pollycraft Friday freebie, so if you haven't yet popped along to grab it, then you better get a wiggle on as it is only available for ONE week then it will only be available for purchase from the Pollycraft shop.

Isn't it a wonderful 'Family' image!!

This card fits 2 challenges...

Stamptacular - Sketch

My new items are the digi-image and yesterday I was naughty when I visited The Range to get a birthday pressie for a crafting buddy when some paper packs just happened to fall in my basket :-), so I've used some of my new papers.

RECIPE

Digi Image - Pollycraft 'Family' (free for one week only)

Papers - My Minds Eye

Flourish Stamp - Papermania

Colouring Medium - Promarkers, Copics and Chalk

Sentiment - PC created

Embellishments - Card Candy

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be adding something else a little later.

Enjoy your weekend!!

A Pollycraft Sneak Peek and I made a Top 5!!!

Good Morning All

Are we all braced for the weekends predicted snow and wind.  We've just been out for a walk with Mollie and to get a few bits from the village shops, and the wind is bitterly cold.  It's been snowing lightly on and off all morning so far and yesterday evening we had another mega dump of about another 3 inches and a power cut to go with it, thankfully the power cut was soon sorted, just glad I had candles to hand.  I've personally never seen so much snow, possibly due to growing up along the south coast where we never used to get a whole lot but I've lived here in Yorkshire now for nearly 14 years and still seen nothing like it.  Anyway thats enough about the weather, I'm sure there are many who are fed up with it.

My first thing to share with you is I made the top 5 over on the Allsorts Challenge for their 'New or Old' challenge, woohoo!!!

Now onto my next thing to share with you.  As promised yesterday I have a sneak peek for you of one of the upcoming new Cherry Kisses images from Pollycraft.

This beauty is called 'He Love's Me' and the card fits 3 challenges....

******************

Well this snowy weather is totally unrelenting isn't it!!  We had a couple of more inches fall again over night and the cars definately need digging out now, though we have no plans to use them.  We have a village butchers, paper shop and convienence store, so they will be getting all our business for the foreseeable future, and I love walking in the snow so I don't mind one bit.

Thanks for stopping by your comments are always appreciated.
Keep warm and stay safe outside everyone.

When I saw the Simon Says challenge I instantly thought of this House Mouse stamped image which I recieved as a RAK sometime ago, and have been eager for the perfect opportunity to use it.  I have used new ribbon and chalks on my card and there is a heart gem, so I think thats all the challenges followed.

Popcorn Bear

Hi everyone, I hope everyone is keeping safe and warm with this extreme wintery weather we are experiencing here in the UK, though it also sounds quite bad in other parts of the world too.  Yesterday saw the worse of the snow so far with a good 6 inches and today it has been sunny with occassional blizzards, yes blizzards not light little flurries...lol, and as I write this another has started, they seem to be getting more frequent.

Right on to my card, I recieved some Popcorn Bear stamps for Christmas from my two little furbabies, and today I've fianlly got around to inking one up.

Firstly I must apologise for the quality of the photo's, I usually take my pics in the conservatory but it's a bit dark in there at the moment as the roof is covered in thick snow, so it's proving very difficult to get any good natural light.

This card covers 4 challenges (I'm getting good at this combining...lol, and at one time I hated doing it).  The challenges are.....

My Time To Craft - Blue & Brown

Mojo Monday - Sketch

ABC - L is for Layers

Creative Card Crew - Distressing

RECIPE

Stamp - Popcorn Bear 'Birthday Cuddles Set' (image and sentiment)

Papers - All are scraps

Colouring Medium - Copics & Promarkers

Cutting Tools - Fiskars Shape Cutter and Nestabilities Scalloped Circle (used in the bug)

Punch - Martha Stewart 'Scallop Dots'

Embellishments - Buttons from stash

***********
Please all keep safe in this slippy weather if you have to venture out or even when out enjoying it especially with your kids.

Thanks for stopping by and as always your comments are much appreciated.

Oh and one last thing for you, a piccy taken today of Mollie and Felix, they both get on so well and I was actually trying to catch a pic of them when seconds before they were both laid across the top of the sofa nose to nose having one of their loving moments, but of course mummy moved to grab the camara and spoilt the moment....lol.  As you'll see Felix has grown loads since we got him.  Enjoy!!

Altered 2010 Diary for 4 Challenges

Good Morning All

Just thought I'd nip this one on before heading off to work.  It's my new altered desk diary so I can keep tabs on all crafty things through out the year, and an easier way to see what challenges I have and haven't entered, here's hoping it makes me organised...lol

I had to take an awkward angle photo of the whole diary as the 2010 wouldn't show up at any other angle, so have also shown you a close up of one of the new Pollycraft fairy images out this week at a better angle.

Challenges covered are....

Incy Wincy - Bling

Sophisticat Challenge - Fancy Borders

One Stop Craft - Something beginning with B

The Corrosive Challenge - Favourite Things

There is some bling there it just doesn't show up well on the piccie I'm afraid, the stars, wings and her belt are all glittered.  Created fancy borders around the image using a MS punch.  My things beginning with 'B' are the colours blue and black and I've altered a diary which is technically a book, isn't it?...lol.  And finally two of my favourite embellishments that I have used are Flowers and Pearls.  There I think that's everything covered.

RECIPE

Digi Image - Pollycraft 'Star Fairy' (soon to be released)

Papers - Papermania

Colouring Medium - Promarkers and Sakura Stardust in Clear and Black

Punch - Martha Stewart - Scalloped Dot

Embellishments - Flowers and Pearls from stash

*********
Thanks for stopping by and also thank you for all the positive comments so far for my mad idea on my new blog 'Pay It Forward Crafting Style', kepp em coming!!

Enjoy your day and keep warm and safe as it sounds like we could all be in for some pretty hefty winter weather over the rest of the week here in the UK.

Best go defrost my car!!!

Hugs

Joanne xx
