CYDA Challenge #21

Good Morning!!!

Hopefully this post has scheduled fine as we should be on the road right now on our way down to Devon fingers crossed for a relaxing 2 weeks.

Pollycraft Challenge #94 ~ Embellishment Bingo

Good Morning

Hope you have all had a lovely weekend, ours has been hectic trying to get ready for our holiday next weekend, just not enough hours in the day at the moment.  Anyway it's Monday and time for a new challenge over at Pollycraft Monday Challenges.

EMBELLISHMENT BINGO

A real fun challenge for you this week if you are not familiar with this kind of challenge (which I've got to admit I wasn't before now) there is a grid of embellishments all you need to do is choose a line that is either a diagonal, horizontal or vertical line, and then you will end up with three embellishments to use.  The DT have all had fun with this one and here is mine.....

I've used one of the gorgeous new images from Pollycraft this is 'Claudia Tutu', I've coloured her with watercolour pencils blended with sansador and promarkers on her dress.  This is a comissioned card for a work colleague.

I chose the line of Tag - Sparkle - Flowers

You can't see the sparkle very well on the piccy I'm afraid, but I added Sakura Stardust in Clear Star to Claudia's bow, dress detail and ballet pump straps, then also went over the sentiment writing with it too.

CYDA Challenge #20 ~ White + One

Good Morning Everyone!!

Gosh what a palava with blogger the last few days eh!!  Fingers crossed all is back up and running as usual now.

It's time for a new challenge over at Craft Your Days Away, we have also announced our new DT members, I'm so excited to welcome our new team buddies, you can check them out and the challenge over on the challenge blog.

Lesley has chosen the challenge this time round which is...

'WHITE + ONE'

So we just want to see your white plus one other colour creations.  You can use as many shades of your chosen colour as you wish and it is ok to use skin tones and hair colour if neccessary.

The DT have come up with some lovely creations and many of us have used images kindly provided by our challenge sponsor Heart Song Designs.  Here is my DT piece...

I've altered a mini-book.  I have used a beautiful image from Heart Song Designs, coloured with watercolour pencils and Sansador.

Well this is a few days late I'm afraid, I've not been able to sign in to blogger for some reason...grrrrr, thankfully as you can see this morning all seems to be ok again.

 You either love or hate doing male themed cards and crafts, I can tell you I'm more to the hate side...lol, but they do have to be done on occassions.

CYDA DT Call!!!

Hiya everyone, I'm back from my hols and working my way through all the washing, always such a come down when you come back and have so much washing to do.  We were only away for a week but as it was a fishing holiday it means lots of clothes, what with it being wet one minute, then chilly, then scorching...lol, but we had a lovely time which is the main thing.

Just wanted to remind everyone that there are just 4 DAYS left to apply for a DT position over at Craft Your Days Away!!  You will find full details over at the CYDA Challenge Blog.  It's been just over a year since our last DT call, so they don't come along that often normally, so hurry if you want to be in with a chance of joining a lovely friendly, fortnightly challenge blog.
