Two Years Old Today!!!

Oh my goodness I have only just realised that it was 2 years ago today that my blog was born, where has the time gone?  

I've been looking back at some of my very early blog posts and had to chuckle at my cards, I like to think I have come a very long way since then, and hardly ever use peel-offs any more...lol.

Joining the blogging world has been an amazing journey, where I have learnt so much and more importantly made some truly wonderful friends.  To date I have 258 followers and there has been 45,300 hits to my blog...WOW, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would get that many visits to my blog in a lifetime.  I myself have been a terrible blogger of late I need so many more hours in a day to be able to go visit all the blogs I enjoy to visit, but despite this there are so many of you who regulary pop by and leave such wonderful comments, so thank you to everyone who visits and follows my crafting journey, you make it all so worthwhile.  Hugs xxx

Birthday Candy

To celebrate my upcoming birthday I'm doing a surprise Candy.  It wasn't going to be a surprise, but as I'm awaiting a few items and because I'm going to the Harrogate Show on Sunday, where I'll probably pick up a few more goodies I thought it would be fun to do a surprise candy, so you wont know what the candy is until the candy closes. 

All you need to do to enter is leave a comment here, but there's a catch I want you to tell me what was one of your best ever birthday surprises be it a present, treat or whatever, and of course it would be fab if you want to spread the word about my surprise candy.

And if anyone happens to share the same birthday as me 17th September then please say so and you will get a second entry into the candy, please I'm trusting you all to be honest.

Happy Blogoversary to me!!!!

Thanks to everyone who entered my candy and especially to those of you who also showed piccies of your craft areas on your blogs, you all earned an extra entry into the candy. So as a special thank you I am doing an extra draw just between those who did show their craft spaces.

I spent a good few hours yesterday afternoon going through all the entries making sure those who earned a second entry got their second entry and picked out the few who thought they'd try their luck by entering twice anyway. I kept adding the names right up until close of candy. I put all the names on a spread sheet so I knew which number was for who and there were 129 entries all in all.

1st Blogoversary Candy

July 31st is my 1st Blogoversary and I'm also celebrating 20,000+ hits to my blog already, something I never ever dreamed of in the first year, in fact at the beginning I thought 20,000 hits would take nearer 5 years..lol. Hi Joanne,You have some fabulous candy there thanks for the chance to be in the draw :)My other fav pastime would be knitting and sewing, niether of them i do as much as i would like though now due to calpal tunnel, especially the knitting anything bigger than a scarf now takes me forever as i have to put it down for a while after 2 or 3 rows.Good luck to all in the draw :)Hugzz Val xxx
