It's Monday so that means it's time for the next challenge over at Pollycraft Monday Challenges, this week Lynsey is your host and her challenge for you is....

SWIRLS & PEARLS

So get your swirly papers, stamps or die-cuts out and splash on them pearls.  The DT have plenty of inspiration to show you over on the challenge blog and here's mine....

I've used one of the gorgeous Cherry Kisses Frames (available from the Pollycraft Shop) coloured with Promarkers, with some swirly Prima Papers and I've added some stamped swirls and of course there are some pearls too.

Vintage ~ Moulin Rouge

I don't often do vintage style, just cos I don't think I'm very good at it...lol.  But I've been itching to use my new Prima 'Moulin Rouge' papers for a few weeks now, I just needed the right image.  Well I found an image set I liked today over at Stitchy Bear, and had a bash.....

CYDA Challenge #14

Good Morning All!!  It's a bit of a wintery mix here today in Yorkshire with rain and snow, I don't think the snow is meant to come to much the rain will domineer I expect.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for our last challenge over at Craft Your Days Away, so many wonderful takes on Donna's 'Photo Challenge'.  This week I am your challenge host and I've provided a simple sketch, firstly here is my card...

And this is the sketch....

You must follow the LO of the sketch and include the ribbon/lace/string with a bow/knot in the corner.  You are of course free to flip/rotate the sketch and add further embellishments and/or sentiments, as longs as the sketch LO can be seen.

I have used a cute new stamp from Marianne Design, which us girls from The Crafty Weekend were kindly provided with.

So do you have someone who has a special age coming up?  If not I'll be 40 in September if thats any help to you...rofl.  So no ordinary birthdays for this one they must be special.

It was one of Steve's daughters 30th birthday a couple of weeks ago so this was her card.  Delphine was perfect for a more maturer card, though I don't think she was to impressed with being reminded that she was 30...lol.  'Delphine Cocktail' is available from the Pollycraft Shop.
