SFCC - Challenge #6 ~ Glitter

Good Morning!!!

It's a lovely bright start here in East Yorkshire, just glad it's not as hot as it was earlier in the week.

Can you believe it's the 1st July?  So that means it's time for our next challenge for you over at Sparkles Christmas Challenges, and this month it's really time to get all sparkly with Gill's challenge theme...

GLITTER

The DT have been sprinkling their glitter for some wonderful inspiration for you which you can check out over on the challenge blog and here is mine.....

This month we are being sponsored by.....

with a £10 voucher to spend in her store and we are also being sponsored by...

with either 5 digi's or 4 digi's and a paperpack for one lucky winner.

I have used on my card a Holly image from Robyn's Fetish coloured with promarkers and sakura pens for a subtle glittery sheen, then mounted the sentiment onto red glitter card.

We do hope you can join us for this months challenge.

Sparkles Monthly Christmas Challenge

Can you believe it's June already??  Where is the time going, flying by it seems.

Well it's the first day of the month so that means it's time for a new montrhly challenge over at SFCC, this month it's all about...

SNOWMEN

....as chosen by Lesley.

We all love an adorabloe snowman or two in our Christmas crafts, I know I do.  You'll find lots of snowmen inspiration from the DT and here is mine....

I was running well behind on my DT stuff to get done before my holidays so I've just done a simple tag, coloured with promarkers, chalks and sakura stardust, it really does sparkle lovely but unfortunately the camara couldn't capture it.

Joanna Sheen is sponsoring this challenge with a £10 voucher for the winner to spend in her online store. We do hope you'll be able to join us for this months challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!!

So do you have someone who has a special age coming up?  If not I'll be 40 in September if thats any help to you...rofl.  So no ordinary birthdays for this one they must be special.

The DT and GD have some beautiful inspiration to show you over on the challenge blog, and here's mine...

It was one of Steve's daughters 30th birthday a couple of weeks ago so this was her card.  Delphine was perfect for a more maturer card, though I don't think she was to impressed with being reminded that she was 30...lol.  'Delphine Cocktail' is available from the Pollycraft Shop.

Emma is also sponsoring this weeks challenge

I'm entering this card into the following challenges...

Incy Wincy - Colour Me Wonderful (I've used Promarkers, Sakura Stardust and Chalks)

Diamond Wedding

Good Morning All!!

They said today was gonna be nice, yet to see it mind, it's dull and damp.  Was hoping to give my car a good old clean today but hat's looking very unlikely now as we are off out this afternoon to check out hopefully one last venue for my 40th Birthday in September, gosh it's been a headache trying to find somewhere, everyone seems to want to get married on my birthday...lol.  Then this evening Steve is taking me out for a lovely meal at our favourite italian for a valentine's treat.  Anyway on to my card for you today....

I made this on the evenings earlier in the week for my manager at work who wanted a mnore personalised Diamond Wedding Anniversary card for her OH's grandparents.  Gosh, 60 years of marriage, thats definately worth celebrating, don't you think?  The image is from Just Inklined, and has been coloured with Promarkers and Sakura Stardust clear.  I am entering this card into the following challenges...

*****

I only really have weekends to sit down and join in with challenges, I only really look at the challenge themes and not always the rules such as how many challenges I can combine with as my spare time is precious and with so many challenge blogs I just don't have the time to read everything, so if I have broken any rules with the amount of challenges combined etc.., then please accept my apologies and please remove me if need be.  I enter the challenges for my own personal enjoyment not for the prize on offer.

*****

As mentioned in my challenges list the Sparkles Forum has now changed homes and you can find the new forum HERE, please pop along and join for daily friendly chatter, swaps, challenges, tips & advice etc..., it caters for many crafts not just cardmaking.  Hope to see you there!!

Enjoy your Saturday and weekend everyone, and thanks for stopping by.

Well it rained last night quite hard, but it is still real muggy and sticky, the sun is trying to break through now, so a good chance to take Mollie for her stroll and go do a bit of shopping.  We had a lovely time at the beach yesterday, Mollie was in her element running around in the sea, luckily she never goes out of her depth, even went paddling myself then we had a little picnic, though Mollie was more interested in digging a moat around me and the towel then eating...lol, so the sarnies got a bit sandy.

Oh and one more thing my little blog is featured in the current '101 Lovely Craft Blogs' over at dotcomgiftshop.  It was a nice thing to see when I recieved an email from them this morning, I'd not heard of it before, I've been and looked at the list and recognised a few other blogs on there too.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your day!!

Totally Papercrafts Challenge #6

Good Morning, another glorious start here, it sure has felt very spring like this week with plenty of sun, though we still have the frosty nights and mornings.

Before I go onto this weeks challenge over on Totally Papercrafts, we have some news to share with you....
We would like to introduce you to FOUR new friends who have come to join the team...

They are all wonderful talented ladies and good friends of ours and we are so pleased to have them on the team.

CHALLENGE #6

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Sue's challenge last week, you seemed to love her sketch as much as we did.  This week over on Totally Papercrafts your host is the lovely Lorraine and she has set the theme of...........

MOTHER'S DAY or SPECIAL LADY

With Mother's Day a little over a week away here in the UK this is the perfect time for making your special Mother's Day card, but we realise for some of our international friends that Mother's Day is a bit later in the year so we have joined the theme with something for a special lady so you have a choice which way you want to take the theme. Now we know there is lots of Mother's Day themed challenges running at present and we are happy for you to combine but we ask that your entry combine's with no more than FIVE challenges to be eligible for the draw for this weeks prize.  Which brings me nicely onto our sponsor this week who is....

The lucky winner will win the newly released Sweet Dreams Springtime Retro Collection

And the lovely Paula is also offering all our readers a little something.....so go check out the challenge blog to find out what!!  And whilst there be sure to check out all of the DT's beautiful creations to help inspire you, here's mine.....
