Out with the cute and in with the flippin men....

....well only out with the cute for this one...lol. This is for a very dear friend of ours and I've done a spinner card using the 'Flippin Cheers' sheet from the Flippin Men range by La Pashe. This fella is so like our friend John, from the moustache, down to the waistcoat and tie, in fact the only thing that isn't John is the cap, but it's cold out there so he needs a cap..lol.







There is a front and behind view, bloomin thing kept spinning, and took me 20 photo's whilst spinning to get a good one of the front and behind..lol.
The papers in the corners are from scraps stash. Using the darker brown I cut the lattice side borders in my bug and added two buttons to either end of the lattice strips. The sentiment was included with the sheet. Finished with some of the diamond scraps from the lattice work along the top and either side of the sentiment.


Has anyone else been having problems with Blogger? I had problems uploading pictures and seeing other's pictures on their blogs last night but all seemed ok this morning. But just had problems again uploading these pictures, took three attempts and my blog challenge list has gone all strange, and when I click on them it says I need to subscribe to the feed. The gremlins must be at work.

La Pashe Christmas

Managed to get another La Pashe Christmas sheet done, was hoping to use them all this christmas, but not looking likely, so will make the others up for next year. I love these sheets as they can be mixed and matched. I've used both foam pads and silicon for the different depths.

La Pashe Christmas

I'm back home now after my flying visit to Scotland, had a lovely couple of days away. Now I'm going to have to get cracking on the rest of my own personal christmas cards, but I think they can wait until tomorrow.


The card below was made before I went away and it's now safe to show. It's from the La Pashe, Remember When ...Christmas series 2. The decoupage has been made up using both sticky foam pads and silicon. Mounted the whole image onto matte gold card, and the sentiment is just the printed sentiment provided in the series.



I really love these sheets, and have both christmas series so hope to work through them for this years christmas cards.

Flippin Men

I made this card for Steve using a sheet from the new La Pashe range called Flippin Men. Other than fishing Steve loves cricket and a beer, so I thought this sheet was perfect. The decoupaged image is double-sided so you get a front view and back view from the inside. It is an aperture card and acetate so the image has been attached to the acetate on bothsides. I designed the backing paper myself in PSP with the word 'OWZAT' (a cricketing term) and a cricket ball image. I cut a rectangle out of the backing paper to creat a frame, and outlined with blue sticky crepe tape. The sentiments were printed and matted onto blue card.

La Pashe - Home Sweet Home

I made this card for my brother and his family using one of the wonderful La Pashe, Remember When... sheets.

They move into their new home today, so I'd like to wish them good luck and much happiness in their new home. I hope the move runs smoothly and I can't wait for when I next come down south to see them and their new home xxx
