Sketch Saturday #36

For this weeks challenge over on Sketch Saturday there is a sketch to follow.

The image is one of my new stamps from Stamptivity, coloured with copics, then waterbrushed the background with sakura gold. The butterfly was stamped and coloured with copics and waterbrushed with the sakura gold, it's then been slightly bent upwards from the middle and attached with silicon. The background paper is a wallpaper sample I had laying around. For the panels I've used bronze wrapping paper, some have been kept plain and the others went through the bug using the 'Divine Swirls' CB folder. The sentiment is stamped then I inked the edges in bronze ink and lightly sanded. To finish added two pieces of fancy braid/cord (not sure what to call Below is the sketch to follow:

I really don't like how this has photographed, it's not showing the true colours at all. The bronze in the wallpaper and panels looks silver, but no matter what room or light I used, it came out the same, don't you just hate it when that happens.

The snow eventually turned to rain last night, but there's still plenty of the stuff on the ground and it's rock solid, so the wet roads are going to be pretty tricky I think. So keep safe everyone and be careful if you have to go out, other than that have a great day whatever your plans. xxx
