Oh yes it's still chistmas cards

Was up at 6 o'clock this morning, raring to get on with christmas cards. I decided to start the day with some more traditional cards. Spent the first half hour tidying up my desk and then another hour printing images and papers from Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Christmas. I've finished two cards so far this morning and have now come down for a coffee with Steve, who's just got up. He thinks I'm mad getting up so early and to start crafting, but I honestly feel I'm more productive and creative early in the mornings and late in the evenings, I was the same when I was doing my studies at uni, my brain just doesn't seem to get into gear as well inbetween...lol.


Both cards are for orders I'm working through.





I love this image, though it's a flat image it looks so 3D, I just mounted on to some holographic card. Run some ribbon along the bottom made a ribbon flower and attached a vellum snowflake to the centre. There's two little flower gems in the top corners and added white peel-off 'Granddaughter' to the ribbon.




Another flat image which just seems to stand out. I added a touch of clear and pink sakura stardust to the outlines of the image (which can't really be seen in photo). Mounted image onto matte silver card. Silver peel-off sentiments to top and bottom and the peel-off corners and decorative outline to the left have been coloured in with pink sakura stardust. Rounded the corners of the card with a corner punch.
