Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #14

This weeks challenge over on Secret Crafter, was set by Claire and it's 'Anything but a Card'.

Well I've decorated a box. Just before Christmas, whilst browsing in The Range, I found these fab little plywood boxes in all different shapes for 99p each. So grabbed as many as I could get in my basket, thank goodness I did'nt have a trolley..lol. So here's what I've done.

I looked at covering or painting the box, before decorating, but I actually quite liked the rawness of the plywood so left it as it was. Used SN stamp 'Sweet 'n' Sassy and coloured with copics and metallic sakura. Stuck some blue lace around the lid, then some blue organza ribbon from Hobbycraft, tied into a bow on the front of the base. Added some fabric flowers with flower button's and a gem in the centre around the sides, except for the back. Finished with a single blue gem on each of the sides of the lid.

I bought these boxes, with the intention of making them up as gifts throughout the year, but not sure whether to keep this for myself or store away until needed as a gift.
