ABC Challenge ~ B is for Blue and Brown & Awards

One of my favourite colour combo's for this weeks challenge over on ABC, 'B' is for Blue and Brown. It was also perfect for using the free decoupage sheet of Daisy & Dandelion available from Do Crafts.


Made up the decoupage using silicon and lightly chalked the background with blue. The spotty background is also one of the papers available with the D & D download, I've inked the edges in blue, the blue daisy paper is from the PM Venetian Skies collection, I lightly chalked it with a darker blue, to darken a little. Layered brown organza, blue ribbon and brown braid along the seam of the two papers and then added some blue braided lace from Craftworks along the bottom. The sentiment was included with the decoupage sheet. To finish, brown and blue fabric flowers from my craft stash held together with copper and blue lattice brads.

Can't wait for the release of this new Daisy & Dandelion range, especially the stamps. For some reason I keep wanting to call them Dandelion & Burdock...lol.
