Pollycraft Challenge #9

The latest challenge over on Pollycraft has been set by Diane and it's 'Think Pink'. Ooohh one of my favourite colours.

I've used the 'Heartstrings' stamp and added the butterfly, cat and extra flower from the Sharing Sherbert Extra's, all stamps are available from Pollycraft Designs. I've coloured the images using watercolour pencils and stardust sakura pens applied with a waterbrush. I doodled some extra blades of grass, to think only a few weeks ago I never did doodling now it seems to be growing on me as my confidence grows. Rounded the corners of the image and chalked the background lightly with blue and inked edges in pink, mounted onto white card, chalked with pink and inked the edges again. The paper is from my scraps stash and inked the edges with pink. Sentiment done on the PC, printed in pink and again inked the edges in pink. Added some pink fabric and prima flowers with gems and the prima flowers on their own were, you guessed it, inked on the edges...lol. Finished with two pink gems in the two free corners of image.
